Strauss Troy Announces Strategic Growth and Welcomes Four New Attorneys Across Key Practice Areas

Strauss Troy, Cincinnati’s eighth-largest law firm, is continuing to execute on its strategic growth plan with the addition of four new attorneys: Ruth Jackson, David Gast, Nick Pahuta and Rachel Keathley.

The firm, which serves clients across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, is in a period of strong momentum – expanding its depth across foundational practice areas and strengthening its ability to meet the ever-evolving needs of its clients. The additions bring further depth and experience in family law, labor & employment, criminal defense, and corporate & business law.

Ruth Jackson joins as a Shareholder in the Domestic Relations Practice Group, bringing more than 30 years of experience in family law and recognition as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

David Gast joins both the Criminal Defense Practice Group and Litigation Practice Group, and represents individuals and businesses in state and federal criminal matters, providing strategic counsel and experienced trial advocacy.  David also handles a wide range of civil litigation.

Nick Pahuta joins the Labor & Employment Practice Group, representing employers in workplace matters, advising businesses on their employment law needs and employment disputes.

Rachel Keathley joins the Corporate & Business Practice Group, advising clients on entity formation, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

The firm plans to continue its strategic expansion into 2026, with an emphasis on attracting top legal talent, strengthening client relationships, and deepening its commitment to the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region.
