Mr. David Cambron, Jr., a Louisville resident and owner of a 2005 Honda Pilot, has filed a class-action lawsuit alleging that both Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Honda) and Takata Corporation knew of the dangers relating to Takata airbags for at least a decade, yet the two manufacturing companies failed to inform the public because full disclosure would have negatively impacted the market value of Honda vehicles.

As 2014 comes to a close, now is the time to start considering next year’s property tax bills. This year represents a significant period as the valuation reappraisal period is in process for three Southwest Ohio counties. Butler and Clermont County are currently in the midst of completing their required sexennial reappraisals, which often result in a whole-scale of changes in values which will be provided to taxpayers by the end of September.
