Strauss Troy to Serve on Plaintiff's Steering Committee in Landmark Train Derailment Case

Strauss Troy is currently representing nearly 600 residents of East Palestine, Ohio (EP) and closely surrounding areas for the losses and damages they sustained as a result of the derailment of the Norfolk Southern train. Ron Parry of Strauss Troy has been appointed to serve on the Plaintiff's Steering Committee in the litigation before Judge Benita Pearson of the Federal District Court in Youngstown, Ohio.

New Ohio Law Cracks Down on Cell Phone Use While Driving

As of April 4, 2023, it is illegal to hold or use an electronic device while driving on Ohio roads, and drivers can be pulled over and cited for doing so. The new law, codified in Section 4511.204 of the Ohio Revised Code, was passed to curb distracted driving.
