Jeffrey A. Levine
AssociateJeffrey A. Levine is a member of Strauss Troy’s Litigation and Corporate/Business Practice Groups. Jeff’s litigation experience in state and federal courts includes the preparation of successful dispositive motions and appellate briefs, the delivery of oral arguments, and the management of negotiations in mediation and settlement conferences. He has also served as counsel in complex commercial litigation, including nationwide shareholder derivative, product liability class actions and disputes between owners of closely-held corporations. In addition, Jeff has extensive experience representing clients before local boards of revision for real estate tax assessment valuations.
Jeff’s corporate practice includes entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, and the preparation of complex corporate agreements. Jeff also assists clients with estate planning matters and probate administration.
Jeff has published articles about estate planning for millennials and the legal risks associated with the use of social media. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Ault Park Advisory Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Ault Park. He volunteers as a lecturer on entrepreneurship and financial literacy at Walnut Hills High School, his alma mater. In 2019, he was named a member of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s “Cincy Next” Class 6, the Chamber’s premier leadership program which focuses on connecting and developing the region’s most talented future leaders.
Prior to joining Strauss Troy, he served as a law clerk to Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Jody M. Luebbers. He is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he earned Dean’s List honors, served on the Moot Court Executive Board and received membership to the Order of the Barristers. He completed his undergraduate degree in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where received the Founder’s Scholar Award for a Top-10% class rank.
Jeff is admitted to practice law in Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
