Strauss Troy Summer Intern Spotlight: Eric Plair-Franklin

June 13, 2025

For the past 17 years, Strauss Troy has participated in the Summer Work Experience in Law (SWEL) program. SWEL is an eight-week program that operates from approximately mid-June through early August. It helps African American students make an informed decision regarding entering law school and the legal profession. SWEL sets the stage for each scholar’s self-discovery by exposing them to the inherent opportunities and challenges of practicing law through summer work experiences, coaching, and networking.
