Margie Cunningham, Dan Hunt and Steve Schmidt named Strauss Troy Shareholders

Strauss Troy congratulates attorneys Margie Cunningham, Dan Hunt and Steve Schmidt, who have been named Shareholders of the firm.  

Margaret E. Cunningham (“Margie”) represents individuals, real estate investors, developers, and lenders in real estate transactions and related areas. Her practice is currently focused on commercial real estate transactions, commercial and residential title insurance, drafting and negotiating real estate contracts, easements, residential subdivisions and condominiums, zoning, probate, and when necessary, general real estate litigation. She is a licensed title agent in Ohio, serves as a title agent in Kentucky and operates one of the firms two title companies. 

Dan Hunt focuses much of his practice on Business and Corporate Law, routinely helping his business clients navigate various administrative and regulatory compliance processes, from wage/hour and unemployment claims to ABC licensing issues. He also works closely with his business clients on creditors’ rights and collection matters. Dan has experience defending clients against complex product liability, class action, construction, premises liability, and lender liability claims. He frequently handles real estate litigation from contract related disputes to boundary line disagreements. 

Steve Schmidt is a litigator and business advisor who focuses his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, employment litigation and tort law. Steve represents and advises clients across a variety of industries in both commercial and consumer disputes, including non-compete, trade secret, insurance coverage, and construction disputes. He also assists clients on contract drafting and negotiation and corporate compliance, and handles matters involving breaches of contract, asset recovery and a range of business torts.
