Strauss Troy Welcomes New Billing Specialist, Katie Watters

We are excited to welcome Katie Watters to Strauss Troy as our new Billing Specialist in the Cincinnati office. Get to know a little more about Katie below.

Cincinnati, OH.

Can you share a little about your background and what brought you into this field?
I previously was in Healthcare Staffing for nursing and did billing there for 6 years. I have a degree in Healthcare Administration, but I recently wanted to branch out of healthcare, so I am very excited to find this open position at Strauss Troy.

What are you most looking forward to about your role here?
Meeting everyone and learning about a different field of billing. Everyone so far has been incredibly nice and welcoming!

What's a professional achievement you're proud of?
I am proud of the connections I have made with clients and coworkers and hope to continue that at Strauss Troy.

What’s something you’re passionate about in your work?
I am passionate about helping others and contributing to a team that can make a difference within the company/organization.

What is your favorite food?
I love anything salty! Especially pretzels and salt and vinegar chips. Coke zero is my absolute favorite drink - second would be coffee.

Describe your perfect weekend.
Right now in my life, I love spending my weekends with my husband of four years, two sons (2.5 y/o and 1 y/o), and two dogs (Bernedoodles). They bring me so much joy and purpose in life. Whether it is watching Mickey Mouse, taking walks, or spending time with extended family and friends, as long as I am with them, it would always be the perfect weekend.

What’s something unique about you that others might not know?
I am an identical twin! My sister and I are very close and spend a lot of time together with our families. Two of our kids were born 8 days apart, so we are very excited that our children will get to be close too.
