Strauss Troy Attorney Jim Heldman Honored with Jewish Federation’s Highest Volunteer Award
Strauss Troy attorney Jim Heldman was recently honored with the Nancy and Robert V. Goldstein Volunteer of the Year Award, presented by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati at its annual meeting.
This prestigious award is the Jewish Federation’s highest honor, created in 1990 in memory of Bob Goldstein, an exemplary communal leader, and recognizes volunteer leaders who have made a significant, lasting impact on the Federation and the broader Jewish community in Cincinnati.
Jim was recognized for his numerous roles within various Jewish and non-Jewish organizations. Organizations which Jim has been significantly involved with include Rockdale Temple, Hebrew Union College, Jewish Vocational Service, and Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati, to name just a few.
He has also served for many years on several Federation committees and boards and currently serves as a Vice-President and Co-Chairman of the 2027 Annual Campaign, an undertaking which raises significant funds for partner agencies to run programs to meet critical needs.
