Meet Our New Summer Associate, Faith Howard

We are excited to welcome Faith Howard to Strauss Troy as a 2026 summer associate. A student at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Faith was drawn to the legal field by her desire to help others and her curiosity about how the profession works to solve problems. We asked her a few questions so you can get to know her a little better:

What drew you to law school and the legal field?
My desire to help others and curiosity for how the legal profession works to help solve problems individuals are facing.

What areas of law are you most interested in exploring right now?
Family Law, Real Estate, and Corporate.

What made you want to spend your summer with our firm?
Strauss Troy’s great reputation in the legal community and welcoming environment that I felt in my interviews.

What are you hoping to learn or experience during your time here?
I’m hoping to get a better understanding on how the litigation process on the whole works from start to finish.

Any academic, leadership, or personal accomplishments you’re especially proud of?
I received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award both my fall and spring semester for legal research and writing my 1L year and I am a member of Cincinnati Law Review.

What do you like to do outside of law school?
I like to go to concerts with my friends and hang out with my family.

Favorite food or go-to local restaurant?
Newport Pizza Company or Wabi Sabi Covington

Describe your ideal weekend.
A weekend away in the mountains getting to hike and experience nature and fresh air, where I can also try new coffee shops and local stores.

Fun fact or something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I played college softball at Northern Kentucky University.
