Volkswagen to Announce Diesel Settlement

On June 21, Volkswagen is expected to announce the settlement terms that will be offered to defrauded VW diesel vehicle owners.

Once the settlement is announced, affected vehicle owners will need to decide whether to accept Volkswagen’s offer or pursue a separate lawsuit seeking additional compensation and potential punitive damages related to Volkswagen’s alleged fraudulent conduct.

Legal Options for VW Diesel Owners

Strauss Troy is currently representing a number of Volkswagen diesel owners. After you receive a settlement offer from Volkswagen, Strauss Troy can help you evaluate your legal options and determine whether accepting or rejecting the settlement is in your best interest.

There is no charge for discussing your options or for Strauss Troy’s professional services related to this evaluation.

Important Deadline: Opting Out of the Settlement

Time is of the essence. Volkswagen’s settlement may be automatically imposed if you do not formally “opt out” within a specific time period after the settlement is announced.

Failing to act within the required timeframe could limit or eliminate your ability to pursue additional legal claims against Volkswagen.
