As businesses such as restaurants, salons, gyms, retail, and more slowly open up after months of being shut down or limited operations due to COVID-19, employers are looking for guidance in navigating the constantly evolving rules for maintaining safe and healthy workplaces.

Kentucky Governor Beshear’s May 11, 2020, Executive Order allowing businesses to open as long as they follow protocol prescribed by the Commonwealth for general requirements. There is also a timeline with sector-specific guidelines.

Businesses not scheduled to reopen under Kentucky’s reopen plan timeline can submit Business Reopen Proposals.
