Jeffrey A. LevineAssociate
Jeffrey A. Levine is a member of Strauss Troy’s Litigation and Corporate/Business Groups. As a civil litigator, he has prepared a variety of successful dispositive motions and appellate briefs, delivered oral arguments, taken and defended depositions, and led mediation and settlement conferences. He has also served as counsel in complex commercial litigation, including many nationwide shareholder derivative and product liability class actions. Jeff’s corporate practice includes entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, and the preparation of complex commercial agreements. Jeff also assists clients with estate planning matters and probate administration.
Prior to joining Strauss Troy, he served as a law clerk to Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Jody M. Luebbers, where he gained a wealth of experience regarding trial practice and settlement negotiations. He then served as a law clerk at Strauss Troy, working alongside nationally-recognized attorneys to become proficient in the fundamentals and intricacies of civil litigation and corporate law. He is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he earned Dean’s List honors, served on the Moot Court Executive Board and received membership to the Order of the Barristers. He completed his undergraduate degree in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where received the Founder’s Scholar Award for a Top-10% class rank.
Jeff has published articles about estate planning and the legal risks associated with the use of social media. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Ault Park Advisory Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Ault Park. He volunteers as a guest instructor at Walnut Hills High School, his alma mater, where he provides interactive lectures and activities to educate students about the fundamentals of economics, personal finance and entrepreneurship. In 2019, he was selected as a member of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s “Cincy Next” Class 6, the Chamber’s premier leadership program which focuses on connecting and developing the region’s most talented future leaders.
Jeff is admitted to practice law in Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
