Strauss Troy Welcomes Attorney Brian O’Connell As A New Shareholder

Strauss Troy, one of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky’s leading law firms, announced that Brian O’Connell has joined the firm as a shareholder. O’Connell concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, intellectual property litigation, products liability, regulatory and tort law. “The firm is continually adding new expertise to help us meet the growing demand for a wide-range of legal services in our community,” Strauss Troy President Jim Heldman said. “We are on a solid growth path for 2013.”

“I bring common sense solutions to complex disputes. In any complex case, it’s important to distill the evidence down to a clear choice between the actions of the parties and the impact of those decisions,” O’Connell said. “Strauss Troy gives me a high-quality and flexible platform from which to serve my clients, especially in the areas of construction and intellectual property litigation.”

O’Connell has 20 years of civil litigation experience including jury and bench trials, mediation and arbitration. He is AV Preeminent® rated by The Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ system. The A/V rating is a significant rating accomplishment and a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.

A Cincinnati native and Westsider, O’Connell resides in Delhi. He is a graduate of Elder High School and the University of Dayton. For more than 10 years, O’Connell has been heavily involved with Special Olympics of Hamilton County where he serves as secretary on the executive committee as well as on the board of trustees. He is also a Master with the Potter Stewart Inn of Court.
