Strauss & Troy is pleased to announce that Martin S. Pinales will be joining the firm in an Of Counsel capacity. Mr. Pinales, formerly of Sirkin Pinales & Schwartz LLP, is one of the country’s premiere white-collar criminal defense attorneys. He has held numerous leadership positions at the local and national levels, and until recently was President of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Pinales is widely regarded for excellent representation of his clients and for effectively advocating reforms to improve the integrity and fairness of the criminal justice system. Mr. Pinales received his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. His career as a distinguished criminal defense attorney spans four decades.
We are also pleased that Candace C. Crouse will join Strauss & Troy as an Associate, after practicing for many years with Mr. Pinales. Ms. Crouse graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and the Golden Key National Honor Society. She received her J.D. from the Ohio State University College of Law, where she was managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal and was a member of the Civil Rights Moot Court Team. She currently serves as the treasurer of the Greater Cincinnati Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Ms. Crouse will concentrate her practice primarily in the areas white-collar criminal defense and civil litigation.
