Cincinnati, Ohio — July 7, 2011 — Strauss & Troy is pleased to announce the addition of Joy L. Hall as an associate at the firm.

Hall brings nearly 10 years of practice to the firm with a concentration in federal and state and local tax issues including audits, collection matters, and fraud. She has expertise in white-collar criminal defense including criminal tax. She also practices state and local tax law including audits, collection matters and disputes.

Admitted to practice in U.S. Tax Court in 2006, the State of Kentucky, U.S. District Court and Eastern District of Kentucky in 2004, Hall is licensed to practice in the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and various federal district courts.

Hall is a member of the following organizations: Kentucky Bar Association; Northern Kentucky Bar Association; Cincinnati Bar Association; American Bar Association tax group and the Northern Kentucky Tax and Business Group.

She also serves as a lecturer, Cincinnati Bar Association Seminar on Innocent Spouse Relief, the University of Cincinnati Income Tax Conference on IRS Collection Issues and speaks on a variety of civil and criminal tax issues.
