The “Justice League,” a Strauss Troy attorney and staff team, participated in the Cincinnati Corporate Olympics held July 10th on Fountain Square to benefit Special Olympics.

The Justice League included: Attorney Brian O’Connell, employees Debbie Hilling and Lucy McCormack, Special Olympian Justin Mossburger, and Brian O’Connell’s daughter, Kacey. The Strauss Troy team finished 6th out of 23 corporate teams and competed in games such as “the late for work shuffle,” “playing hooky” and “the profit squeezer” at the 16th annual event.

“We had a lot of fun, but more importantly, we supported a good cause and helped Special Olympics of Hamilton County raise more than $40,000 to support the good work that organization does,” Brian said. He also serves on the Special Olympics of Hamilton County board of trustees.

Entirely dependent on local funding, all money raised by Special Olympics provides 24 different year-round sports and recreational activities for nearly 1,800 athletes with mental and developmental disabilities in Hamilton County.
