Elizabeth M. Reeder

Elizabeth M. Reeder focuses her practice on representing the business sector, counseling individuals and businesses from start-ups to established, regional companies. Her diverse client base includes entrepreneurs in the high-tech, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, and automotive industries, among others. Liz assists her clients with choice of entity issues, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and venture capital, succession planning, intellectual property, taxation, and general business law.  She is a Business Law Fellow of the American Bar Association and was recognized by the Northern Kentucky Chamber as a Next Generation Leader in the category of Legal Services in 2018.  Liz is a frequent speaker for bar associations and employer groups on corporate, tax, and estate planning developments.

Liz also counsels clients on a wide range of technology and intellectual property issues, including trademark and copyright registration, licensing agreements, website terms of service and startup services for technology companies. She advises small businesses on tax credits, appropriate entity taxation elections, and sales and use tax issues and counsels non-profit corporations and tax-exempt entities on governance, charitable giving issues, and applicable tax exemptions.

In addition to her corporate practice, Liz assists clients with crafting their estate plans, including drafting wills, powers of attorney, living wills, family and charitable trusts, trust private settlement agreements, and business succession planning.  She is experienced in probate estate administration in Kentucky and Ohio, settling and administering estates, ancillary administrations, and guardianships and conservatorships.

A lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky, Liz Reeder is committed to serving her community. She volunteers with the St. Elizabeth Foundation Young Patrons Guild, Charities Guild of Northern Kentucky, and as a Trustee of the Northern Kentucky Bar Foundation. She is a graduate of the 2016 Class of Leadership Northern Kentucky.
