Strauss Troy will sponsor CincyBrand 2014, Cincinnati’s first conference dedicated solely to branding and intellectual property protection. The all-day conference will be hosted by the Cincinnati Intellectual Property Association (CincyIP) and held on Tuesday, April 22 at the Phoenix in downtown Cincinnati.

“In today’s digital marketplace and with the popularity of social media, it is more important than ever for companies of all sizes, from iconic brands to start-ups, to understand the trademark, licensing and other legal requirements necessary to build and secure their brands,” said Kevin Sprecher, Strauss Troy intellectual property attorney.

The conference will feature speakers from Maker’s Mark, Marvel, Procter & Gamble, Express,

Interbrand and The Brandery. Topics discussed during the day include: branding for start-ups, iconic branding, licensing, non-traditional marks, counterfeiting and digital media.

The topics discussed during the conference will not only benefit attorneys but also marketers, entrepreneurs and businesses that work to secure and build their own brands daily.

This event has been approved for 7.5 CLE hours for the state of Ohio, and 7.5 hours of CLE has been requested in Kentucky.
