On July 23, Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear visited Covington-based business accelerator program, UpTech, and signed a bill that will increase access to private capital for startup companies.

UpTech,is a Covington-based business accelerator program designed to provide emerging informatics companies access to resources, community connections, and the start-up tools needed to fuel early-stage growth. In its third year, the program has attracted entrepreneurs of information-driven businesses from across the U.S.
