Ms. Allen's practice is concentrated in the areas of employment law, pensions and employee benefits. She is a frequent lecturer and the author of several law-related articles in the benefits area. Ms. Allen served as a Bigelow Fellow and Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago Law School. Ms. Allen was Coordinator of Business Law and Lecturer in Law at North Carolina State University after serving as a law clerk for Honorable Harlington Wood, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo (B.F.A., 1970; M.A., 1975; J.D., 1979) where she was Senior Editor of the Buffalo Law Review.
