John Fischer, a member of the Strauss Troy Labor | Employment Law practice group, recently served as a contributing editor for the recently published Fair Labor Standards Act, Second Edition, 2012 Cumulative Supplement. John was a past contributing editor for the initial Fair Labor Standards Act, Second Edition and the 2011 Supplement. The Fair Labor Standards Act is considered the most respected and comprehensive publication on wage-hour and overtime law and litigation, as applied to both private and public sector employers.
Additionally, John was a contributing editor for the recently published Sixth Edition of Developing Labor Law – the unquestionably preeminent and advanced book on labor law in the U.S since its first edition over 40 years ago. Both Developing Labor Law and Fair Labor Standards Act are comprehensive, multi-volume publications for experts in labor and employment law.
John is a Board Certified Specialist in Labor & Employment Law by the Ohio Supreme Court and Ohio Bar Association.
