Philomena Ashdown’s practice includes general business and commercial transactions and related litigation. She specializes in the insolvency area, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, receiverships and assignments for the benefit of creditors. She also handles purchase and sales of distressed assets, including real estate and debt. She is also known in the community for her efforts in business development and mentoring women and in the Asian Indian business community. Philomena is peer-rated AV Preeminent™ by Martindale Hubbell and has been selected as a “Cincinnati Leading Lawyer” since 2009.
Guy Taft is co-chairman of the firm’s litigation group and concentrates his practice in federal and state court litigation appeals in the areas of intellectual property disputes, breach of contract, fraud, health care and employment law. Guy has been named a Best Lawyer® by U.S. News in the areas of commercial litigation and appellate practice, and he has received the highest possible peer review rating of AV® Preeminent™ from Martindale-Hubbell for more than 20 years. Guy is immediate past president and a trustee of the Cincinnati Bar Foundation.
Tim Theissen maintains a general practice, and primarily handles divorce, zoning matters, real estate transactions and estate planning/probate. His largest practice area is Family Law, and he is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is collaboratively trained and is a member of the American Institute of Collaborative Professionals. Tim has been named a “Cincinnati Leading Lawyer” since 2006.
