Strauss Troy Attorney Brian Eviston has graduated from the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Northern Kentucky (LNK) program. As part of the nine-month leadership development series, Brian participated in sessions related to economic development, education, human services, cultural competence, government, law & justice, and health in order to better understand our region’s strengths and challenges and to further develop the skills necessary to motivate and engage others in collaborative efforts to overcome those challenges.

Brian explains that the LNK experience was a rewarding one, both personally and professionally. He recalls meeting Werner Coppel, a Holocaust survivor, at the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education (CHHE). Coppel was born in Germany and experienced the rise of Nazism. He was a slave laborer in Auschwitz and later survived a Death March. “Hearing Coppel speak was extremely powerful and something that I’ll never forget,” Brian said. Brian’s class, the Class of 2014, and its Class Project also left a lasting impression on Brian. “I am very proud of this Class and the things that we accomplished in only a few short months.”

Brian is a member of the Strauss Troy Corporate and Litigation Groups. He concentrates his work on corporate law, commercial law, landlord-tenant law, and complex corporate and commercial litigation. Brian has extensive experience counseling owners, executives, and officers in all areas of their business, including corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, contract formation, government regulation, employment decisions, and property ownership and management.
