Strauss Troy Attorney Mary Beth Stevenson has been elected to the position of 2014-2015 secretary of the Fort Thomas Business Association. The FTBA promotes the success and growth of all businesses in Fort Thomas, Kentucky through strategic and collective marketing efforts, business-to-business networking, community engagement and professional development. By promoting private enterprise and economic development, in conjunction with government and community organizations, the Fort Thomas Business Association is fostering a sustainable local economy.

Mary Beth is “honored by the opportunity to contribute to the Fort Thomas Business Association and looks forward to assisting the launch of the association’s ‘My Fort Thomas’ app.” The application (www.myfortthomas.com) will centralize all Fort Thomas business activities with city events, news, school functions and sports. This initiative will invigorate business activity and community awareness in local events.

Mary Beth focuses her work on real estate closings, title insurance, escrow services, title insurance defense, contract negotiations and general litigation. She has extensive experience in designing, developing and implementing strategic plans for commercial, residential and REO transactions throughout the region. Mary Beth’s litigation practice focuses on creditor’s rights representation, title insurance defense, foreclosure and real estate disputes.

Prior to practicing law, Mary Beth was a sales and marketing representative for a Fortune 50 company. This corporate experience required extensive coordination between five manufacturing facilities, focus on budgets, cost control and building brand awareness. This intimate knowledge of corporate practices and business acumen complement her law practice today as she understands the objectives and perspectives of corporate clients within a legal context.
