Bill Strauss Named Chairman of Strauss & Troy

Cincinnati, OH, March 10, 2009 — Strauss & Troy announced that the firm has elected William V. Strauss as chairman of the firm. He will continue to serve on the board of directors.

Strauss has served as the president of the firm since 1993. In his new role, he will dedicate his efforts to the overall strategic planning for the firm.

"Bill Strauss has done an outstanding job leading our firm over the past 15 years," says incoming president James G. Heldman. "We are fortunate to have him serving in this new role, as he will remain focused on a strategic level while stepping away from day-to-day management duties."

Strauss has extensive experience in commercial real estate law and is widely recognized in areas relating to housing and real estate development law. He serves on the board of directors of Downtown Cincinnati, Inc. and the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. An honors graduate of Harvard College, Mr. Strauss entered the practice in 1967 after receiving his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been selected as an "Ohio Super Lawyer," and is listed in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in Cincinnati Law.

Strauss lives in Wyoming with his wife, Linda ("Nina"), a children's book author. They have two daughters: Nancy Strauss of Madrid, Spain, and Katherine Fenton-Strauss of Whittier, California.
