As part of Strauss Troy’s “Your Community – Our Commitment®,” we went a little latin at the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra’s 20th annual FUNdraiser: “

The event, held Saturday, February 8th, at the Newport Syndicate featured live music from the KSO Boogie Band.

This is the only fundraiser that the KSO has to bring free outdoor summer concerts to Devou Park and free Education Outreach programs to area schools.

About The KSO Boogie Band

Formed in 1999, the KSO Boogie Band provides a social and nostalgic vehicle that allows patrons to dance, sing along and enjoy the annual gala without the rules associated with a traditional symphonic performance.
The all-star band and local vocalists revel in authentically presenting everyone’s favorite songs in a live studio-style presentation that invites the audience to participate.
This year’s gala featured 50 years of Latin and crossover pop.
