Biography
Lori Ross is a member of the Litigation Department and practices in all aspects of federal and state litigation with an emphasis in complex commercial litigation, class action and consumer law, employment law, and municipal law. She works on behalf of both Plaintiffs and Defendants. Ms. Ross’ employment law practice involves providing counsel and/or advocacy in all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including matters involving non-competes or restrictive covenants, participating in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Ohio and Kentucky Civil Rights Commissions related to claims for discrimination, harassment, or wrongful termination.
On large class action cases, she has advocated for the rights of consumers and investors regionally and nationwide. She has also successfully defended against class certification. In her complex commercial litigation practice, she has litigated and tried cases involving, among other things, Lanham Act violations, deceptive trade practices, unfair competition, and product safety matters. In her municipal practice, Ms. Ross is the Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Wyoming, Ohio.
Ms. Ross is also a professional mediator affiliated with the Center for Resolution of Disputes. As a mediator, she is retained by attorneys and/or corporations to act as a third-party neutral and to assist in compromising disputed claims through a formal mediation process.
