Charlie Melville joined Strauss Troy in 1992. His career includes more than 11 years in private practice specializing in intellectual property, four years as corporate general counsel for a large Cincinnati-based manufacturing company, seven years as vice president and later senior vice president of sales and marketing for the same company, and four years as general manager of the international division of that company.
Charlie Melville's practice is concentrated into three areas: intellectual property, counseling and drafting distribution agreements between manufacturers and sales representatives or distributors, and commercial litigation.
He has taught at the University of Cincinnati, College of Law, and in the School of Business at Northern Kentucky University. Charlie has also presented a series of seminars for the Department of Business & Management at the University of Wisconsin.
