Strauss Troy Shareholder Marty Butler Receives NKU’s Distinguished Service Award

Strauss Troy shareholder Marty Butler received Northern Kentucky University’s Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes alumni who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service to Northern Kentucky University through their time and talents.

Jeffrey Standen, dean of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law noted that Marty is an indispensable part of the NKU community.

In 2014, Butler received Northern Kentucky University’s distinguished Lincoln Award. Butler, a graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, serves on NKU’s Foundation Board and VISION 2015 Regional Stewardship Council, and an active member of the Chase Alumni Association. He is president of the Butler foundation and has also served as chair of the Northern Kentucky Fine Arts Fund Campaign, president of Northern Kentucky Habitat for Humanity. Butler is a board member of the Parish Kitchen, Senior Citizens of Northern Kentucky and Southbank Fund. These are only a few of the organizations that he has helped over the years with his leadership and generous support.
