Qualifications:
- The ideal attorney will have a portable book of business and a minimum of five years of experience in employee benefit plan matters, health and welfare benefit plans, and qualified retirement plans. This candidate should have experience in handling employee benefit plan clients regarding administrative and operational issues; ERISA claims, Affordable Care Act compliance, tax and other regulatory compliance; fiduciary issues; investment issues; plan design and drafting; plan qualification; general consultation; as well as handling benefit plan-related litigation, withdrawal liability, etc.
- Must have a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Ohio bar. Being licensed in Kentucky and/or Indiana is a plus.
